Imperium (Modified)

Imperium is the ‘clan’ or ‘faction’ plugin originally developed by Chucklenugget for the use on Rust Factions.

Creating a Faction

/faction create FACTIONNAME

  • Faction names must be 8 characters or less
  • Anyone individual can create a faction in game
  • You must have 3 or more members to claim land tiles
  •  Real life groups and offensive faction names are prohibited (see Rules)

Inviting a Member to a Faction

/faction invite PLAYERNAME or /faction invite ‘PLAYERNAME’ or /faction invite STEAMID64

  • Names are not case sensitive
  • Names with spaces require the use of quotation marks ‘NAME OF PLAYER ‘
  • SteamID 64 Number also functions
  • Must be a Faction Manager or Owner

Joining Faction to Which You Have Been Invited

/faction join FACTIONNAME

  • Faction names are case sensitive
  • Must have a prior invite to Faction

Removing a Member of a Faction

/faction kick PLAYERNAME or /faction kick ‘PLAYERNAME’ or /faction kick STEAMID64

  • Names are not case sensitive
  • Names with spaces require the use of quotation marks ‘NAME OF PLAYER ‘
  • SteamID 64 Number also functions
  • Must be a Faction Manager or Owner

Promoting a Member of a Faction

/faction promote PLAYERNAME or /faction promote ‘PLAYERNAME’ or /faction promote STEAMID64

  • Names are not case sensitive
  • Names with spaces require the use of quotation marks ‘NAME OF PLAYER ‘
  • SteamID 64 Number also functions
  • Must be a Faction Owner
  • Will promote to the Faction Manager position, which will allow the individual to invite or remove players, as well as claim and unclaim tiles, and designate a tax chest
  • Please note that players are responsible for whom they designate as faction managers.  Staff will not intervene unless specific rules are broken; for example, if a faction manager claims multiple tiles and drains a factions scrap supply, that will not be reimbursed.

Demoting a Member of a Faction

/faction demote PLAYERNAME or /faction demote ‘PLAYERNAME’ or /faction demote STEAMID64

  • Names are not case sensitive
  • Names with spaces require the use of quotation marks ‘NAME OF PLAYER ‘
  • SteamID 64 Number also functions
  • Must be a Faction Owner
  • Will demote from Manager to basic Faction member

Dissolving a Faction

/faction disband or as faction owner /faction leave

  • Must be a Faction Owner
  • Will immediately and irrevokably dissolve a faction
  • All claims will be immediately dissolved
  • You have been warned!
  • Automatically occurs when the final member of a faction leaves the faction

Claiming Territory

/claim (while holding a repair hammer) – After inputting command strike the tool cabinet that you wish to represent the claim

  • Must be a Faction Owner or Manager
  • Will claim wilderness tile immediately
  • First Claim Tool Cabinet will designate as Faction HQ
  • All claims require scrap in the Faction HQ Tool Cabinet to pay for continuing costs of claim
  • First tile costs an immediate 5 scrap, the second 10 scrap at time of claim, third  tile 25, third and subsequent 50 scrap immediate cost, plus upkeep every 24 hours

Claim Upkeep Costs

/claim upkeep

  • Upkeep is taken from HQ Tool Cabinet
  • Gives cost in scrap per 24 hours of upkeep
  • 12 hour grace period from first hour due before claims start dissolving at random
  • Claims will start dissolving from outer claims inwards at a rate of 1 tile per hour
  • Upkeep Costs are as follows PER TILE per 24 hour period, so for 2 tiles add 10+15=25 Scrap Per 24 Hour Period:

Moving Your Headquarters (HQ)

/claim hq  (while holding a repair hammer) – After inputting command strike the tool cabinet that you wish to represent the HQ claim

  • Must be a Faction Owner or Manager
  • Will move HQ immediately
  • All scrap upkeep will be taken from new tool cabinet when upkeep becomes due

Unclaiming a Tile

/claim remove  (while holding a repair hammer) – After inputting command strike the tool cabinet that you wish to represent the HQ claim

  • Must be a Faction Owner or Manager
  • Will remove claim immediately

Transferring a Claim To Another Faction

/claim give FACTIONNAME  (while holding a repair hammer) – After inputting command strike the tool cabinet that you wish to represent the  transferred claim

  • Must be a Faction Owner or Manager
  • Will transfer claim immediately

Renaming a Claimed Tile

/claim rename XY ‘Area Name’

  • Must be a Faction Owner or Manager
  • Will give the tile XY (coordinates) a name as designated that will be viewable by all players in that tile on their HUD

Tax System

/tax rate XX

  • Will set tax rate of XX% of resources harvested that will be sent automatically to your designated tax chest
  • Must be a Faction owner or manager
 

/tax chest – Must be holding a repair hammer, and strike the chest you wish to designate as your tax chest

  • Must be a Faction Owner or Manager
  • Tax revenue will automatically be transferred to the designated tax chest
  • Will only transfer harvestable materials; will not transfer ‘pick up’ items (such as hemp plants or containers) or recycled materials
  • Effective Era 5 – Scrap Upkeep for claims comes from HQ Tool Cabinets, not Tax Chest

War System

/war help

  • Gives list of possible commands
 

/war list

  • gives a list of all current active wars on the island

/war status

  • Gives list of wars that involve your Faction
 

/war declare FACTION ‘reason’

  • Declares war on FACTION
  • Reason will be displayed to all players, so nothing rude or disrespectful
  • See Rules > War; explosives cannot be used for one hour from either Reddit declaration or in-game declaration, whichever is more recent

 

/war end FACTION

  • Ends war with FACTION
  • Opponent Faction owner must accept
  • If Owner is not able to accept, the war is considered active until resolved.  
  • If Owner is not going to be available due to illness, infirmity or other major reason, you may contact staff
  • If Owner is not available due to just general reasons, staff will not intervene
